PACK-BACK burden: a home that holds our experiences and reveals who we are. It is a travelling companion, a refuge and a source of comfort; but it can also become a burden, in the worries we carry on our shoulders. The two performers are trapped in a cycle, in which they will discover that the weight of life is lightened when shared, and that the best way to travel — and to live — is to let go, to open oneself up to the unknown.
“The journey never ends. Only the travellers come to an end. And even they can live on in memory, in remembrance, in the story. The destination of a journey is merely the beginning of another journey.”
— José Saramago
