STARTER Culture and Creativity for Environmental Challenges 2025 – 2027

Mosaico Danza has won the STARTER Culture and Creativity for Environmental Challenges fund by the Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo! This grant aims to promote creative and artistic production, especially among young people, and cultural processes to raise awareness of the major challenges of the present, encouraging a culture of environmental sustainability.
STARTER will help support the new creation by Collettivo Lattea, a young female trio associated with Mosaico Danza since 2024.
The creative journey, which will take place between Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta, will intertwine art, science and community. We will be accompanied by Punto Rec Studio, experts in audiovisual production, environmental experts Marco Clerico and Prof. Cristiana Peano from DISAFA at the University of Turin, and systemic design expert Martina Bosica, who will offer us a holistic view of the entire process. The Pistoletto Foundation’s Accademia Unidee will also be involved in the creation of green and sustainable stage costumes.
BANDO BOARDING PASS PLUS 2025 – 2027

Mosaico Danza is a partner in the CROSSING THE SEA project, winner of the Boarding Pass Plus call for proposals. Crossing the Sea, with Marche Teatro as leading partner, is a project aimed at internationalising live performance, created with the aim of establishing and consolidating long-term collaborations between Italy and countries in the Middle East and Asia. The project is being carried out by seven Italian organisations in collaboration with nine foreign partners, with the support of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities as part of the Boarding Pass Plus competition.
EFFEA Call #4 2026
In 2026, the INTERPLAY FESTIVAL, as a partner, won the 4th EFFEA Call with the ASHES TO ASHES project, led by Dance Festival Malta and with partners Frei Festival (DE), _Na Kna Festival (SL), and Abrile endanza Festival (ES).
Since January 2023, the Interplay Festival has been the winner, with several European partners, of all the Calls of the European Effea Call for Proposals, a project of the European Festivals Association, co-founded by the European Union and supported by the European Commission for Creative Europe, supporting the mobility of new creations by emerging artists through cooperation projects with other European festivals.
TORINO CHE CULTURA! funded by PN Metro funds 2024 – 2026

Mosaico Danza (project leader) with the partner Compagni Di Viaggio APS is resulted winner in June 2024 of the public tender “Torino, che cultura!”, funded by PN METRO PLUS E CITTA’ MEDIE SUD 2021-2027 – TO7.5.1.1.B – SOSTEGNO ALL’ECONOMIA URBANA NEL SETTORE DELLA CULTURA co-funded by European Union, with the project FREE.SEED- sconfinamenti. Through a shared green vision, we have conceived a program of performing arts shows, theatre and contemporary dance, thought for diverse publics and presented in outdoor, in parks and across Turin’s hills. Performances will be intertwined with opportunities of growth for the audience, with choreographic and participatory residencies, dance workshops, theatre and community labs.
EFFE Label 2026 – 2027

TOCC for ECOLOGICAL TRANSITION from NGENU Recovery
Mosaico Danza has resulted among the winners of the funding TOCC for Ecological Transition, financed by the European Union in the context of NGEU – Next Generation EU through the funding destined to PNRR – Recovery and Resilience National Plan. The project IN.EX. INTERPLAY EXTENDED IN NATURE will entail the realisation of an Open Air Campus la realizzazione di un campus open air located in the headquarters of Mosaico Danza association, where to host choreographic residencies, open rehearsals, masterclasses, workshops and public talk with experts. All of these will be realised in Nature with a low impact technical equipment.

INTERPLAY Festival has resulted in the winners in January 2023 of the grant from EFFEA – European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists, cofounded by the European Union and supported by European Commission for Creative Europe. The fund aims to support the production of emerging and early career artists through cooperation projects with other dance and performing art festivals around Europe. The Italian selected artist is Jacopo Jenna, who will interact with Tanz Fabrique of Potsdam in Germany and Danse of Uzès Festival in France.

In partnership with Dance Festival Malta, Jerusalem International Dance Week, Aerowaves Festival Sofia organised by Derida Dance Center and Quinzena de Dança de Almada – International Dance Festival, Interplay Festival hosts in residency in May 2024 the choreographic project, Dance Beyond Borders.

IN GIRO PER FESTIVAL. Guida nomade agli eventi culturali
INTERPLAY has been included in the touristic guide to cultural events, curated by Giulia Alonzo and Oliviero Ponte Di Pino, since its first edition in 2022: IN GIRO PER FESTIVAL in collaboration with Trova Festival.
EFFE Label 2024/2025
Since 2015, INTERPLAY INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF CONTEMPORARY DANCE receives the EFFE Label 2024-2025, a prestigious European acknowledgement dedicated to the best international festivals. The international jury, following a careful evaluation from Hub Experts on a national level: a Festival of artistic interest and cultural value with international profile.

CROSSING THE SEA > Winner of the Boarding Boarding Pass Plus
Crossing the sea is a project for the internationalization of performing arts, born with the aim of creating and consolidating long-term collaborations between Italy and countries in the Middle East and Asia. The project is carried out by seven Italian organizations in collaboration with 25 foreign partners with the support of the Italian Ministry of Culture in the context of the Boarding Pass Plus Funding.
Dance Roads / DROP Dance Roads Open Process
DROP/ Dance Roads Open Process, resulted winner of the Europa Cultura funding, received the SUCCESS STORY acknowledgement from the European Commission in 2017 with the indication: “finalized projects that stood out for their impact, contribution to decision-making processes, innovative results and /or creative approach, and who can be a source of inspiration for others.”


Dance Roads / DROP Dance Roads Open Process
As a partner of the international Dance Roads network, Mosaico Danza created the DROP Dance Roads Open Process project, winner of the Europa Cultura – EACEA Culture Program Strand 1.2.1 Cooperation Projects 2007-2013 call.
DANZA&DANZA AWARD IN THE CATEGORY BEST OPERATORS 2010
As a partner of the Anticorpi XL network, Mosaico Danza received the official award for the 2010 Operators category from the Danza&Danza critic’s pool, as the first and only “significant and concrete example of promotion of the newest generation of Italian choreographers“.
