ROUND TRIP. The performance is an investigation of pure movement. It is the result born from the awareness that without space there would be no movement, but without movement space would not be conceivable. There is no linear story but moments, images, situations that transfigure the formal data of the choreographic score in music, in what seems to be a “mosaic-work”. With Round Trip we enter into an analysis of different identities; we enter into an analysis of the encounter with the other and its many facets. Individuals intent in a research, unique and multiple, confront and identify themselves, mixing again, not caring about any classification. The pièce is, in its whole, a circular motion that consists in invading and abandoning the space with staggered returns and goings also in time. In the choreography as a whole, it is as if every single situation were disconnected from the previous or the following one and could belong each time to an infinitely variable number of performers.

ROBERTO TEDESCO. Roberto Tedesco trained at the School of Ballet of Tuscany under the direction of Cristina Bozzolini. From 2009 to 2011 he danced in the Junior BdT. In 2011 he worked at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino directed by Francesco Ventriglia. He then joined Aterballetto, under the direction of Cristina Bozzolini and later Gigi Cristoforetti, dancing choreographies by Ohad Naharin, Jiri Kylian, Hofesh Shecter, William Forsythe, Mauro Bigonzetti, Johan Inger, Andonis Foniadakis, Diego Tortelli, Jiri Pokorny, Giuseppe Spota, Michele Di Stefano, Philippe Kratz, Francesco Nappa, Eugenio Scigliano, Cristina Rizzo, Michele Merola, Fabrizio Monteverde.
