Last Movement of Hope was born from the desire to explore, through dance, our relationships with ourselves and with others, our fears, our struggles and, above all, the hope that drives us forward. Conceived as a collection of short stories, the various sections of the work take the form of chapters in a journey of creative exploration made up of encounters, emotions and reflections. In this second chapter, the exploration focuses on the fragility and strength of the human body. Performed by Laura dell’Agnese and Cristina Roggerini, dressed in light silk, the piece constructs a physical dialogue in which the bodies become, for one another, both fragile and vital organs. The format, which draws on recent successful experiments in the contemporary European scene, opens up a new dimension: more intimate and exploratory, it redefines the state of the art towards a sensitive and deeply embodied exploration.
