PUBLIC TALK
organised by INTERPLAY/26
in collaboration with Associazione Tiarè
with Emiliano Bronzino
Meanwhile, on the evening of 4 June, again at the Casa del Teatro Ragazzi e Giovani, the performances will be followed by the TALK: PANIC ROOM – Young bodies, the urgencies of the present, an open dialogue between artists, practitioners and organisations active in the local area, to explore the role of young people today: between fragility, resilience and the possibility of transformation. The INTERPLAY evening features performances by young artists such as the Compagnia Equilibrio Dinamico, taking to the stage with 15 dancers, choreographed by (LA)HORDE, one of the most incisive voices in new European choreography and winners of the 2022 SACD Award for New Choreographic Talent; Vittorio Porcelli, a young choreographer who emerged at the NID 2025 Open Studios; and the new duo created by Adriano Bolognino, winner of the 2022 Danza&Danza Award for Best Emerging Choreographer.
Joining them in conversation are the Artistic Director of the TRG Foundation, Emiliano Bronzino, and a representative of the TIARE’ association, which has been active since 2000 and addresses issues such as gender identity, marginalisation and the challenges facing young people today — all areas that TIARE’ explores from a clinical, relational and social perspective. The works performed on stage draw on highly contemporary choreographic languages — from breakdance to jumpstyle, right through to contemporary dance — addressing pressing issues such as gender identity, marginalisation, a sense of belonging and self-construction. The talk aims to explore these perspectives, transforming the stage into a space for listening, discussion and democratic reflection on the urgent issues facing young people today.
