GONZAGO’S ROSE. A self confident man‚ tough as his seat‚ hombre pasionado which confuses Love with violence‚ an offended woman‚ exhausted‚ watered with her roses‚ longing mujer which soffers violence for a little touch of Love; they have been living together for “thousands of years” bringing up roses pressed by nightmares that seem dreams and watered down poetries‚ they share an unique reality: to dance old memories in tired dresses. Gonzago’s Rose was created in 1999, with the support of Sosta Palmizi Association. A duo in which the dance language embraces the theatrical one, coloring a crackling love story with irony and tragedy. It became immediately a cult show, invited to numerous festivals in Italy and abroad: Drodesera/Centrale Fies‚ Volterrateatro‚ InCastro danza, Teatro Kismet Opera‚ Cantieri Koreja, Dansem, Contrappunti, Teatro delle Briciole, Fondamenta Nuove, Teatri 90 Festival delle Rocche, Teatri Invisibili, festiaval Dansem/Marsiglia, La Boite a Jouer/Bordeaux.

Compagnia Tardito/Rendina came to life through the meeting of dancers/choreographers Federica Tardito and Aldo Rendina‚ that arrive from a recognized professional experience as performers with choreographers such as Raffaella Giordano‚ Giorgio Rossi‚ Roberto Castello‚ Anna Sagna‚ Claude Coldy‚ Georges Appaix and Pierre Byland. They are united by features of both artistic and formative experience: a past of professional nomadism and‚ most of all‚ the will to confront themselves with authors creations.
Among the most significant shows Gonzago’s Rose, Circhio LumeOh Heaven (il Paradiso Possibile), Il Compito. They collaborate on the project Del bene Del male, directed by Stefano Cenci with Dimensioni Parallele Teatro, which debuts in Modena in Prime Visioni exhibition. In collaboration with Bruno Franceschini, L’anatra, la morte e il tulipano, Eolo Awards 2015, Special Mention at Terre Comuni Festival. They also create performative events in urban spaces. Federica Tardito and Aldo Rendina are Associate Artists of the Sosta Palmizi / MiBACT Association.
