XD. Computerized smile. Literal and typing body, emotional icon. Face screwed up into an X of winking and laughing eyes: hegemonic, amplified and void. Face exposed and obscene in a dental D. D mouth showing itself like the threshold between the visible and behind-the-scenes footage from the scene of the body. Deformed bodies, colorful and rounded, almost androgynous, mediated by the figures in the Japanese manga. Pigeonholed in the rectangular passing of comic-book time. Coated and crystallized in the eternal temporal and dot-shaped anatomy of the photo possessing them. Raped by their own images. Wet from the shiny surface of the retina that touches upon them.

Francesca Pennini
She began as a competitive gymnast and studied dance at the Tuscany Ballet and the Laban Dance Centre in London. She won the 'Giovani Danz'Autori' Award in 2008 with Eye Was Ear, a fragment of the project 'C/o' on Foucault's heterotopias. In 2009, she was a choreographer in the European project Choreoroam.
Her new production The Uncertain Scene – Reformatting the performative event is produced and supported by the European project, Focus on Art and Science in the Performing Arts. She has worked as a freelance dancer for Sasha Waltz & Guests.
In 2007 , she founded CollettivO CineticO, a flexible and traversable network for the artists and researchers that is a hotbed of experimentation under the banner of the transversality of the arts. The company has presented its work at the major festivals in Italy of young original dance including the Ferrara Theatre, Armunia-Castiglioncello, B-motion-Bassano....
