We Solo Men is a “masculine” show portraying the conflict between the desire to entertain and delight and the inability to communicate.
Six dancers, six different egos, the urgency of expression and the impossibility to communicate, the impact of the non-communication.
The bodies under consideration, the bodies are infamy.
A rhythmic composition made up of sounds, words, movements and body language that aims to create a connection with the public. A show that enthralls the audience and keeps them under its spell.
A show was chosen at the Nederlandse Dansdagen (Dutch Dance Days) as one of the most important productions of the 2009/2010 season.

Ann Van den Broek
A graduate of the Rotterdamse Dansacademie, Ann has a rich past as an interpreter for important authors, including Flamand, Paul Selwyn Norton and Elisa Monte Dance Company, as well as of her own creations since 1993.
Since 2000, she has devoted herself exclusively to her own choreographic path, inspired by contemporary society and the phenomena of current events which she investigates thoroughly, and then responds to the questions that seem to be taken for granted and which are never asked.
She won the Swan Award with Co(te)lette, declared “the most impressive dance performance of the 2007/2008 season”; the 2009/2010 Mouson Award promoted by the Künstlerhaus Mousonturm in Frankfurt (Germany), for her capacity to capture contemporary behavior without making any kind of judgement.
She regularly holds dance and choreography classes at the Rotterdamse Dansacademie, Dansatelier Rotterdam and Charleroi Danse, and is the choreographer associated with the project ”Ecole en scène de Wallonie”, and she still teaches in Brussels, Antwerp, Tilburg, Arnhem.
