Something precedes action, the formal development of dance, the mental-visual idea of the body. For me this thing is power‚ “the amorphous infinity” of Chinese philosophy. Energy that’s not connoted. Into power.
This dimension of power in action links to a state of the attacking- fleeing of animals. Also man is an animal.
Luna Paese came to life surrounded by music‚ and has studied piano‚ singing and flute. She began first to study hip-hop and funky dance‚ then theatre and successively contemporary dance‚ with Michele Di Stefano-Mk.
She continued her studies with Alessandra and Antonella Sini-SDAI‚ Fabrizio Favale-Le Supplici‚ Jonathan Burrows‚ Virgilio Sieni‚ Silvia Rampelli‚
Claudia Castellucci-Stoa‚ and furthered her studies of ballet‚ yoga‚ gymnastics and shaolin kung fu. In 2005 she received her diploma in New Circus from the Alessandra Galante Garrone Academy in Bologna‚ Italy.
She has collaborated with the theatre companies Rossosimona‚ Agustin Letelier‚ Tittiongh Collective‚ Madda Company and Altroteatro/Altroequipe Company directed by Lucia Latour. She is a member of the company Effetto Larsen (Milan): the show “Aggregazione” was presented in Skopje at the 2009 Young Artists Biennial of Europe and the Mediterranea.
Her choreographic works have been presented at “Martelive” (Rome)‚ Soloinazione/Perypezye Urbane (MI)‚ Facefestival (RC)‚ Didstudio/Fabbrica del Vapore (MI)‚ Teatro dell’Acquario (CZ) and Chiaradanza (NA).
In 2009 she obtained production support from Duncan 3.0 (Rome) and Aiep-Avventure in Elicottero Prodotti / Didstudio (Milan).
