Feature arises from thorough field research: collecting impressions‚ testimonials and photographs‚ the dancer explores the movement both through symbolic and abstract thinking and through concrete experience.

Joona Halonen‚ is a Finnish dancer and choreographer who studied at the Theatre Academy of Finland in Helsinki‚ and has worked as a performer with numerous choreographers and directors‚ including Jyrki Karttunen‚ Jenni Kivelä and Dario Fo.
Since 2005‚ he has presented her own choreography performing on the stages of various cities in Europe and since 2009‚ has taught practices of perception and bodily expression at the Theatre Academy of Finland and at the Open University of Helsinki. With “Red letter days”‚ he won first prize at the Saitama International Dance Contest in Tokyo.
His most recent work‚ "Whispering Cosmos" was acclaimed by audiences and critics. Some of his creations have been supported by the prestigious Zodiak - Center for New Dance in Helsinki.
