Volte sempre (Always look back) is literally an invitation to return – forever repeating the same movement – an exaggerated tormented expression used for saying good-bye in Portugal to one who has just paid you and is leaving with your merchandise.
“Meu amor” the lady fruit vendor says to me and instantaneously there’s an ambiguous fleeting relationship between us: a game of seduction that lasts as long as the time it takes to pay the bill. Forever is played out in an instant.

Sara Marasso after studying with great teachers of contemporary dance and contact improvisation‚ since 2002 she has presented her work at various festivals including Asti Theatre Festival‚ the Fabrica-Contemporary Dance Festival in Oporto‚ Different Art Sensations Festival in Biella‚ the International Festival of Urban Landscape‚ Lugar à Dança in Lisbona; Festival Habana Vieja Ciudad en Movimiento in Havana‚ Cuba; Interplay Festival‚ Contrappunti (Counterpoints)‚ European Theatre and Theatre at Court series in Turin; International Urban Landscapes Dance Festival of Corpi Urbani in Genoa‚ and she created the project “Dance Break” for Torinodanza during the 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Turin. “Solo carta” was the only Italian production chosen for Les Reperages 2009 in Lille‚ France.
